Early Life and Education

Jordan Rand was born on July 23, 1993, in Germany and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her early years were marked by a passion for sports, particularly figure skating, where she demonstrated remarkable dedication by training as early as 4 a.m. She attended Doherty High School, earning accolades as a three-time Most Valuable Female Athlete and securing state championships in track and field events. Her athletic prowess led to a full-ride scholarship at Manhattan College in New York City, where she majored in psychology and competed in track and field, specializing in the triple jump and long jump. ​

Modeling Career

While studying in New York, Rand's modeling career began to flourish. Initially signed with Wilhelmina Models, she later joined Elite Model Management, expanding her presence across major fashion capitals, including Milan, Copenhagen, and London. Rand has graced the pages of esteemed publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and V Magazine. Her campaigns include collaborations with luxury brands like Moncler, Audemars Piguet, and Coach. Notably, in 2018, she made headlines by arriving at a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show callback on her Ducati motorcycle, showcasing her unique blend of fashion and motorcycling passion. 

Athletic Pursuits and eSkootr Racing

Beyond modeling, Rand is an accomplished athlete, transitioning from figure skating to track and field, and eventually to motor racing. Her interest in motorcycles led her to train at the California Superbike School in Los Angeles. In 2022, she became a professional e-scooter racer, competing in the eSkootr Championship (eSC), a pioneering electric scooter racing series. Rand's participation in eSC highlights her commitment to sustainable sports and breaking gender norms in motor racing. ​

Advocacy and Personal Life

Rand is a vocal advocate for diversity, inclusion, and LGBTQIA+ representation in sports and fashion. As a bisexual woman, she proudly represents the LGBTQIA+ community, often racing with a rainbow flag on her helmet. She serves as a community champion for Racing Pride, an organization promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusion in motorsport. Rand's openness about her identity and her efforts to inspire others underscore her role as a trailblazer in her fields. ​
